EEDAR RELEASES ANNUAL E3 RETAIL BUYER REPORT HIGHLIGHTING THE COMMERCIAL POTENTIAL OF TITLES SHOWCASED AT E3 2011 ELECTRONIC ARTS' MASS EFFECT 3 NAMED EEDAR'S MOST PROMISING RETAIL TITLE E3 2011
CARLSBAD, CA., June 20, 2011 - EEDAR, the leading provider of comprehensive contextual information for the worldwide video game industry has partnered with IGN Entertainment (IGN), the largest media network for video games, and GameTrailers (GT), the largest media network dedicated to game trailers, to create this year's list of EEDAR's Most Promising Retail Titles of E3 2011. The list was created after analyzing over 78 million recorded Page Views (IGN) and over 45 million Media Views (GT) for the top 500 titles showcased at E3 2011.
"EEDAR has had strong demand from its retail partners to create an objectively quantifiable method to measure the commercial potential of games showcased at E3 2011," said Jesse Divnich, Vice President of Capital Research, EEDAR. "With our media partners, IGN Entertainment and GameTrailers, EEDAR has been able to create a special E3 edition of our monthly Retail Buyer Report that highlights the collective activity of over 20 million consumers during the week of E3."
Electronic Arts' Mass Effect 3 was recognized as EEDAR's Most Promising Retail Title of E3 2011.
